Welcome to
Alan Lambe Photography .com.
Photography was
and still is a Hobby for me but if i had a Penny or a Cent for the Hours
spent on early mornings and late nights in the frost, rain and
sunshine and the hundreds of rolls of film and dozens upon
dozens of memory cards used photographing the landscapes of Ireland . . .
I am
based on the West of Ireland in County Galway and have been here for
12 years now. Galway city is a great city and is strategically
located as a launch pad into the Burren of County Clare and
Connemara of County Galway as well as rugged County Mayo.
After travelling
the length and breath of Ireland for the last 15 years recording the
landscapes of my beautiful island I decided to launch a web site showing
some of my best work and highlighting the beauty, wildness and ruggedness
of the Irish countryside.
My
photography started when I was given an Olympus Trip (i think
that was the model) as a present and with a keen interest in Art at
the time I started taking "creative" shots. I then moved on to a
Canon AE1, then to a Canon EOS 1000f then to a Canon EOS350D and
currently using the Canon EOS 5d & Canon EOS 5 with Canon L series lenses, so its
safe to say I'm a Canon fan! Anyway
